We were commissioned to carry out a number of projects designed to transform this family house.
The walls, ceilings and woodwork were thoroughly prepared before being painted. The Almond White walls in the hallway give a light, airy feeling.
Looking from the kitchen the entrance hall is dark and gloomy.
With freshly painted walls, ceiling and woodwork and a light oak laminate floor supplied and laid by us it becomes warm and inviting.
Our customer needed more storage space.
We agreed!
An under stairs cupboard seemed a perfect solution.
The cupboard was skilfully made using 6” pine tongue and groove. It was then dyed with Colron Georgian medium oak wood dye before receiving 2 coats of Dulux clear satin varnish.
Although plastered the rear porch hadn’t been touched for 2 years.
Painted with Dulux Almond White emulsion and with a new floor it is transformed.
The downstairs toilet needed painting.
After thorough preparation it was painted using Crown emulsion colour cream.
It is now a more comfortable place to contemplate.
Our customer likes to entertain and needed some help.
Crown emulsion in cream contrasts subtly with the Dulux emulsion in Muted Stone on the end wall. The light oak flooring complements the customer’s dining table and chairs.
After dinner it would be nice to have a place to relax.
The theme of cream and muted stone is followed into the lounge. The light oak floor again helps to provide warmth, space and a relaxing environment.
The solid oak door leading to the hall.
The view from the top of the stairs.
We supplied and fitted a hard wearing carpet that gives warmth and comfort.
The landing was cold and uninviting.
In total we fitted 12 solid oak doors supplied by our customer and after preparing we applied 2 coats of Dulux clear satin varnish.
Looking across the landing from the bathroom.
Looking back the other way after decoration and the laying of a new carpet, quite a transformation.
Dulux Almond white walls contrast nicely with the ranch style banister rails that have been lovingly prepared and varnished to bring them to life.
The oak doors work well giving depth and texture to the landing.
After 2 years of living without central heating we supplied and fitted a new boiler for our customer and commissioned the central heating system.
A new boiler deserves a new room!
The entrance canopy needs attention.
3 coats of Dulux brilliant white paint and a new light help welcome the owners and their friends to their ‘new’ home.
